Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s CSR Program
Since the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake,
Grand Hyatt Tokyo has participated in a range
of charity programs that support rural areas of Japan.
We seek to continue these efforts
by offering hands-on,
community-based support as part of
Hyatt’s World of Care,
a global corporate social responsibility program
that brings together more than 1,300 Hyatt properties.
Our previous activities include setting up
donation boxes in the hotel,
donating a percentage of the revenue
from accommodation packages and charity hampers,
and sending staff to volunteer in Tohoku.
As of January 2024, the hotel has donated
a total of over 64 million yen
to charity organizations including Kids Earth Fund
and the Japan Red Cross.
“Grand Caring Summer Stay” Charity Stay Package to Support Healthcare Professionals
July 1 – September 30, 2020
From July 1 to September 30, 2020, we offered a “Grand Caring Summer Stay” charity stay package, to support medical professionals by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
A total of JPY 643,885 was donated from the stay package to the Tokyo branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society. Thank you very much for all of your support!
Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s ‘Heart of Gold’ Holiday Charity Program
November to December, 2019
At Grand Hyatt Tokyo, as part of our ongoing support of regions hit by natural disasters, a charity program with the theme “Heart of Gold” in collaboration with Kids Earth Fund was held from 9 November to 25 December 2019. The program supported children who were effected by natural disasters.
All of the charity programmes in the following page were finished. All donations were sent for children of Tohoku region via KIDS EARTH FUND. Thank you very much for your kind support!
