The Oak Door Bar is now offering a new selection of happy hour set menus to guide our guests through a week in Tokyo. Perfectly timed for after-work drinks or as a pick-me-up for the busy traveler, the Sundown Specials offer two cocktails and a bar snack in keeping with the theme of the day.

Monday Booze

Drinks: Japanese, American and Scotch whisky highballs

Food: French dip beef sandwich

Kick off the week with a selection of dynamic highballs, including a Scotch whisky highball served with a smoked decanter and a Miyagikyo whisky highball which overflows its cup in “koborezake” style. Indulge in a French dip beef sandwich as these memorable highballs refresh you for an exciting week ahead.

Tuesday Cheers

Drinks: Classic American cocktails including the Cosmopolitan, Manhattan and New York Sour

Food: Pulled pork sandwich

On Tuesdays, the bar leans into its all-American roots with a range of classic American cocktails from the Manhattan to the Cosmopolitan, as well as a range of lesser-known American cocktails selected by our mixologists. Relax with a time-honored favorite or try something new to complement your delectable pulled pork sandwich.

Wednesday Siesta

Drinks: Classic and fruit martinis, including kiwi and lychee

Food: Spicy seafood cocktail

Start the second half of the week in style with a range of classic and fruit martinis, accompanied by a spicy seafood dish. Select your desired flavors from our bartender’s fruit basket then watch as they bring a touch of class to your evening – either shaken or stirred.

Thirsty Thursday

Drinks: Gin and tonic, created from your choice of 6 gins, 3 tonics and 8 garnishes

Food: Spicy chicken lollipops

On Thursdays, get creative with a fully customizable gin and tonic. Choose from six gins, three Fevertree tonics and eight garnishes to create your ideal tipple, then tuck into your chicken lollipops as the bartender brings your creation to life.
