Grand Hyatt Tokyo
Charity Programme
Since the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake,
Grand Hyatt Tokyo has participated in a range of charity programs that support rural areas of Japan.
We seek to continue these efforts by offering hands-on, community-based support as part of Hyatt’s World of Care,
a global corporate social responsibility program that brings together more than 1,300 Hyatt properties.
Our previous activities include setting up donation boxes in the hotel,
donating a percentage of the revenue from accommodation packages and charity hampers,
and sending staff to volunteer in Tohoku.
As of January 2024, the hotel has donated a total of over 64 million yen
to charity organizations including Kids Earth Fund and the Japan Red Cross.

SDGs: A portion of the proceeds from “Green Forest Afternoon Tea” has been donated to the “Green Fund”
Grand Hyatt Tokyo actively incorporated sustainable ingredients such as irregularly shaped fruits in the “Green Forest Afternoon Tea” offered at The French Kitchen from April 16 to June 30, 2022, to contribute to SDGs. A portion of the proceeds has been donated to the “Green Fund” run by the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization.
This donation will be used for reforestation in the local community and abroad through the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization’s "Green Fund." Thank you very much for your kind support!

“Grand Caring Summer Stay” Charity Stay Package to Support Healthcare Professionals
Details of the charity stay package: Grand Caring Summer StayFrom July 1 to September 30, 2020, we offered a “Grand Caring Summer Stay” charity stay package, to support medical professionals by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
A total of JPY 643,885 was donated from the stay package to the Tokyo branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society. Thank you very much for all of your support!

“Support Kumamoto” Charity Stay Package
Details of "Support Kumamoto" Charity Stay PackageFrom 1 May to 30 June 2016, we offered a “Support Kumamoto” charity stay package, to support those who were affected by the earthquake in Kumamoto, by donating 5% of the proceeds to Kumamoto Prefecture.
This charity stay package has now ended but the total amount we were able to donate to Kumamoto Prefecture amounted to JPY 1,968,572. Thank you very much for your warm support and cooperation!
