Detox with a Superfood Afternoon Tea

This summer afternoon tea will include a delicious selection of superfood sweets and savories featuring ingredients such as antioxidant-packed açai berries, protein-rich chia seeds and coconut that helps promote weight loss.
The menu will include two types of healthy herbal teas: one iced tea made from the native Hawaiian healing herb mamaki, which is packed with antioxidants and is 100% natural, cholesterol-free, caffeine-free, gluten-free and preservative-free; and a hot tea blend from the Okinawa Simauta brand that combines 100% Okinawan tea leaves with ginger, ancient Okinawan kabuchii citrus and long pepper, which is said to have great benefits for the hair, skin and blood flow. Enjoy this guilt-free afternoon tea on the terrace this summer while taking in some vitamin D.

Hawaiian Mamaki Tea
This tea is made with the native Hawaiian healing herb mamaki, which is packed with antioxidants and is 100% natural, cholesterol-free, caffeine-free, gluten-free and preservative-free. The tea is known for its refreshing, smooth taste and is said to have many health benefits, including promoting healthy cardiovascular functions, combating the negative effects of stress and supporting glucose metabolism.
Okinawa Simauta Ginger Blend Tea
This blended tea by the Okinawa Simauta brand combines 100% Okinawan tea leaves with ginger, ancient Okinawan kabuchii citrus and long pepper, a flowering vine used for spice and seasoning that also has medicinal and dietary properties. Long pepper is said to have great benefits for the hair, skin and blood flow, while ginger helps warm the body.
